Vonciel M. English, MS HRM affectionately known by her clients as “Coach V” is an HR professional turned Employment and Advancement Coach by occupation and Encouragement Coach by divine calling. Born and raised in Dayton, Ohio, she founded Perfect English in 2009 (now known as Perfect English Development Solutions, LLC) to help unemployed and underemployed workers improve their employability skills. Her cheerful personality and willingness to help everyone around her has made her an inspiration to many.

Coach V has been called to help others understand that life’s tragedies were meant to build their faith. In her own life, she realized that every obstacle was meant to strengthen her spirit and every job she ever held was a spiritual assignment to prepare her for the next season of life.  Coach V believes that people were not created to just work but to employ their God-given gifts. Through encouragement coaching, training, and development, she relies on divine direction to help individuals achieve their greatest potential, believe for the impossible, and step into their life’s purpose.

We will discuss challenges that try to keep us from reaching our goals. We will share resources and solutions to help overcome those challenges. Lakesha Walder

Lakesha Walder, program coordinator for Premier Health Mahagony's Child, works to keep the program in alignment with the strategic plan of Miami Valley Hospital. Mahagony's Child, since 2001 has been committed to building healthier communities, encouraging healthy behaviors, and influencing generations to come. Ms. Walder's experience in dietary nutrition, and program development helps to support the mission of the program. She coordinates and facilitates nutrition and wellness classes throughout the Dayton community. Ms. Walder works everyday to bring awareness to and combat the negative perception of healthcare more specifically in the African American community. Ms. Walder organized (AAWW) 2017 African-American

Wellness Walk, an annual walk to increase awareness, and link people to health services and emphasize the importance of early detection of disease. This year Grammy Award-Winning Producer and Actor David Banner was a guest at the AAWW 2017. This event was truly an inspiration to the community and Ms. Walder looks forward to the continued success of the AAWW and Mahogany's Child.



Jamica Garrison

Active public servant for over 20 years. Proud graduate of Dayton's Paul Laurence Dunbar High School and Wright State University, with a professional background of over 8 years in workforce, economic development and human resources. Transforming lives through service, collaboration, innovation, education, and advocacy.




Emerald Sparks

Emerald Sparks founder of two businesses, a native of Dayton, Ohio graduated from the Ohio State University with a bachelors in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting. She worked in corporate America as an internal auditor but now as a business owner she is passionate about helping individuals and families obtain financial freedom through education and literacy. 
A rising star in her own right, she is a financial columnist for Cincy Chic, the only online women’s publication in Cincinnati, Ohio. She hosts a monthly Rebuilding Your Credit workshop for Dayton area residents. Additionally, she taught her financial literacy program at North College High School and West High School in Cincinnati, Ohio.
She wrote a book entitled Vision. Future. Reality: How to Budget Like a Boss. Her energy, passion, and commitment moves people to make better financial

Irene along with her husband are new business owners of Charlestopher and Company Productions, LLC. Their goal is to impact families through positive productions that inspire creativity. In 2017 In Her Space was launched to inspire women and their families to become their best selves. In her Space Podcast is now available on iTunes, Blog Talk Radio, and Soundcloud. In Her Space Podcast is off to a great start, giving space to people who want to share their experience, business, books, knowledge and expertise. She is on a mission to facilitate vision speaks workshops that ecncourage women to reach their greatest potential!
